Our Journey
1978
Mr Koo Ja-Shin established CUCKOO Electronics (Formerly known as Sunkwang Electronics Co. Ltd.).
1988
The CUCKOO brand was launched.
2006
Mr Koo Bon-Hak (Brian) became CEO.
2014
CUCKOO International, CUCKOO Korea’s first overseas joint venture company was founded by Mr Hoe Kian Choon.
2016
CUCKOO Singapore was founded by Mr Hoe Kian Choon. CUCKOO Brunei was founded by Mr Wong Kim Guan.
2017
CUCKOO Indonesia was established by CUCKOO International (Malaysia) and CUCKOO Electronics (Korea).
2018
CUCKOO International officially became the Southeast Asian hub.
2019
CUCKOO Singapore launched 10 brandstores islandwide in 100 days under the CUCKOO 100 initiative.
2020
CUCKOO International is now a Healthy Home Creator. Newly established brands, WonderLab and WonderKlean, joined the ranks of the CUCKOO brand to provide greater Healthy Home offerings.
2021
CUCKOO International launches the A-Series Mattress, a product co-created with Napure under CUCKOO’s Healthy Living pillar.
2022
CUCKOO Singapore launches Singapore’s 1st instant 100°C hot water mode water purifier, CUCKOO TITAN and Singapore’s 1st mechanical water purifier with faucet sterilisation mode, CUCKOO Warrior.
